Images that remind us of nature, bourgeois life, mass media and violent spectacle create of quilt-like vision of our political present. Keywords flash across the screen reminding us of traditional American values and their rhetorical uses. The viewer is also reminded of the video medium’s role in the creation and distribution of these values.
