Valdez is a film and video artist from Houston, Texas. His work has been played to international audiences at such festivals as New York Underground, PDX, RESFEST, Antimatter, Chicago Underground, Images, Ann Arbor Film Festival, LA Freewaves, Impakt and microcinemas such as Aurora Picture Show, Squeaky Wheel, Other Cinema, Mini-Cine, and Basement Films. He currently resides in Iowa City, Iowa.
