Ben Shaffer

Ben Shaffer is a multimedia artist and currently a graduate student at Claremont Graduate University School of Art. He recently moved from New York City where he lived for three years concentrating on video and photography. He also worked in the education department of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and taught first and second graders at Village Community School. He received his BS from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA where he concentrated in Art Education. He has received fellowships and awards from James Madison University and Claremont Graduate University. His exhibition history includes: Dan O? Melveny Gallery in Los Angeles, City Without Walls in Newark, 1926 Exhibition Place in Chicago, Mitten Gallery in Harrisonburg, and the Prescott Billboard Project in Prescott, AZ.
