Blake Carrington

Blake Carrington is an artist exploring the intersection between geography, phenomenology and signal/noise theory. He was a recent artist-in-residence at Atlantic Center for the Arts under Carsten Nicolai. Spending two years in Japan, he screened work several times in Tokyo, and is currently an MFA candidate in the Department of Transmedia at Syracuse University. His work has been shown recently as part of the 17 Days video series, The Mirror Stage in Cyprus and Alternative Film/Video Festival in Belgrade, among others. He is also one-third of the artist group Avalanche Collective, with whom he has exhibited most recently at Rochester Contemporary Art Center.
