Ivan Limas lives and works in Los Angeles. Through drawing, painting, video and sculpture, he engrosses views in confrontational cultural situations that at first seem foreign, but eventually become recognized as self-implicit. He questions institutional perceptions of class and power by mashing opposing topics that cohesively function to deliver multiple layers of meaning, dwelling in doubtful identity and self-critique.
