Kelly Sears

Kelly Sears is an animator and filmmaker living in Los Angeles. Sears' collage animations parse together collected media artifacts to reveal secret histories, forgotten tales, and possible moments embedded in the images around us. Her work explores the darker side of technological progress, frontierism, and ideological expansion. Her work has been shown at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Hammer Museum, Sundance Film Festival, and in galleries and film festivals internationally.
