Nabawia El-Soudani

El-Soudani studied at the California Institute of the Arts for an MFA in Film and Video. Her video Hal Tara was chosen for a screening at the CalArts Showcase 2004 at Raleigh Studios, Chaplin Theater. She was awarded the Women in Film Scholarship in 2004. In her work, El-Soudani brings to the forefront provoking ideas that are relevant to the current political issues in the Middle East and the United States.
