Rian Brown

Rian Brown is an independent filmmaker and Assistant Professor of New Media at Oberlin College. Originally from Boston, she received her MFA from the University of California and has joined the Oberlin Faculty in Fall 2000. The Settler (2001) has screened at the Shorts International Film Fest 2001, and the New York International Film and Video Festival in NY, 2002. Her films Presence of Water (1999) and Saca Una Foto (1994) have screened at the Los Angeles County Museum, The Harvard Film Archive, Women in the Director
