The Freewaves Archive features over 400 video art pieces from around the world. We foster a publicly accessible environment encouraging the making, sharing, and dialogue of new video art. This archive functions as a tutorial on media art curation and a means of expanding the curatorial community.

Freewaves is dedicated to the creative exhibition of the most innovative and culturally relevant independent new media from around the world. Freewaves facilitates cross‐cultural dialogues by inventing dynamic new media exhibition forms at established and unconventional venues in Los Angeles, on TV and online.

Freewaves transformed the stores, sidewalks and art centers of Hollywood Boulevard, into a six block long screening room for one of the world’s most ambitiously pluralistic media arts festivals.
